Terms of Service

By using Game Bites ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. The Service

Game Bites is a mobile word game offering daily puzzles, multiplayer matches, puzzle trails, and bot games. The App is provided "as is" and may change at any time.

2. Accounts

You can play as a guest or create an account via Apple Sign In. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. One account per person. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automation to play the game.
• Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage.
• Harass other players through the friend or challenge system.
• Use offensive or inappropriate display names or usernames.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the App.

4. Subscriptions (Game Bites Plus)

Plus is an optional subscription managed through Apple's App Store. Pricing, billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by Apple per their terms. We do not process payments directly.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in Game Bites — including game mechanics, UI design, icons, sounds, and puzzle data — is owned by Hakan Karadis. The word dictionaries used are based on public-domain word lists (ENABLE).

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy of scores, or availability of multiplayer features. We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or any damages arising from use of the App.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time for violations of these terms. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
